We have all been there many times, standing in the valley of decision. Perched precariously between victory and defeat. On the one side of us is the word of the world authored by satan that says, for example, “You are not going to get healed”. On the other side of us, the Word of God is saying, “My Word is yes and amen” and “By whose stripes, you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). Who will determine how it all turns out? We will. We are the establishing witnesses.
If a person approached me wanting me to pray for him for healing, one of the first things I would declare is, “The Word says you are healed”. How often do we want to interrupt ourselves and say, “Yes, I know it says that, but I have got this terrible pain here…”.
“The Word says, ‘By His stripes, you were healed.'”
“I know it, but I have this terrible….”
“Listen, the Word says you are healed!”
“I know it says that, but I have this …”
How often do we allow our physical symptoms to become our evidence? How often is that what we allow ourselves to believe? Often, it does not matter what the Word says, we believe the thing we can see and feel.
However, when we get quiet, and stop trying to reason ourselves out of healing, we will realise that if we want someone to agree with us, we need to be careful of what we confess into that agreement! If they agree with us into our negative confession, we are going to die. However, if they agree with us and the Bible, we can get healed!”
All we need to do is agree with the Word of God!
When we finally decide to get in agreement with God, we can receive His healing in the bedroom, driving down the road, or anywhere else. We can receive it at any time that we decide to become the establishing witness.
“But if he does not listen, take along with you one or two others, so that every word may be confirmed and upheld by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” Matthew 18:16 (AMPC)
You pray and establish your witness. That is your part. If you will do it, then God will back you; and when He backs you, everything else either has to get in line or get out of the way.
“Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Today I declare that I am healed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I declare that I will speak life, positivity, and healing over me and my family; that I will be the deciding witness that may declare Your goodness and faithfulness in our lives. Thank you Lord for this amazing blessing, we believe it and receive it! Amen.”
You are the deciding witness. What do you say?
