Lifestylez Employment Empowerment Centre is all about empowering people with Job Skills and Entrepreneurial Skills to support themselves and their families. Empowerment is not about getting people out of poverty; true empowerment is about giving people a hope and a future; about helping people understand that they can and have to control their resources and their worldview. It is all about bringing hope to the hopeless and the poor by equipping, empowering, and releasing people to fulfil their true and full potential and purpose.
We do this by equipping and empowering people with the employability and entrepreneurial skills needed to support themselves and their families, by empowering people to break the curse and cycle of poverty themselves.
We have adopted the Lifestylez Family Ministries’ Statement of Faith, found on About Us, as our own and commit, submit, and advocate it as true and just.
Each centre is aimed at developing skills. The curriculum at each centre depends on the employment demands from that specific business community. The focus is placed on the unemployed and to train them how to work with excellence, to possibly start a business, and to ultimately, help themselves career wise.
Lifestylez Employment Empowerment Centre have access to a database of over 150 business ideas with complete knowledge kits including mentoring and information web links for each business. Students only graduate once they have completed a basic Lifestylez Employment Empowerment Centre programme and have actually started a small business or acquired gainful employment.
Our Employment Centre is made up of a professional (but not profit-driven) Placement Agency geared towards servicing the market as well as all graduates from our Lifestylez Employment Empowerment Centre Job Skills Workshops. Once a Lifestylez Employment Empowerment Centre programme has been completed, students will be assisted on how to present themselves in an interview, on how to find employment (through our Employment Centre or on their own), on how to start a business (through our Entrepreneurial Skills Centre), on how to do further skills training (at our computer lab or Job Skills Centre), and on how to further their education (redo Grade 12 or tertiary education).
Our rent-a-desk service offers flexibility. People can choose from casual daily hot-desking to permanent dedicated desks, with most hubs offering amenities like backup power and a fast uncapped Wi-Fi connection.
Hot desks, or nomadic desks are great for freelancers or occasional visitors needing first-come, first-served shared workspace.
Dedicated desks provides you with a permanent, personal desk where you can leave your monitors and equipment.
Day passes are offered for one-off needs or trying out a workspace.
Unlike traditional commercial leases, coworking desks are plug-and-play and usually include a high-speed uncapped Wi-Fi or Fibre connection, backup power to beat load shedding, access to communal kitchens with complimentary tea and coffee, discounts on meeting rooms, boardrooms, and event spaces, and professional reception services included with dedicated desks.
