“To the end that through [their receiving] Christ Jesus, the blessing [promised] to Abraham might come upon the Gentiles, so that we through faith might [all] receive [the realisation of] the promise of the [Holy] Spirit.”  Galatians 3:14 (AMPC)

One of the problems that has hung around the Church for years is poverty.  However, the day is dawning for the Church to decide if they want to continue to be poor.  We read here in the Word where the blessing of Abraham has come upon the gentiles by Jesus Christ.  Then when we get down to the 29th verse where it says, “And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham’s Seed], then you are Abraham’s offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise”.  Suddenly the truth hits!  This is truly something that we can get ourselves excited about.

If we then turn back over to Genesis 12 through Genesis 22 and read those promised blessings.  Land, an inheritance of the land of Canaan, or assets and physical wealth in today’s terms.  Offspring/Nation, numerous descendants, including kings, or children, both physical and spiritual for today, a legacy in Jesus Christ.  Blessing, blessing for Abraham and global blessing for all nations through his “seed”, or prosperity for today, to generate and acquire wealth, to be blessed in order to bless those around you.

This revelation is like striking it rich!  Realising that ALL the riches, ALL the blessings, ALL the Glory, and ALL the provision that our God possesses, is at our full disposal.

Most of this world lives in poverty, in conditions and houses that nobody would like to live in.  But when we read these promises in the Word, we see the light.  We realise that God has already redeemed us from the curse of poverty.

Well, this is the time we must lock ourselves in our secret places and our prayer closets, take our Bibles in our hands and say:

“Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus.  I want to announce to Almighty God in heaven and to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to the Holy Spirit dwelling in me, to all the angels of heaven, to all the demons of hell, and to anyone else who cares anything about hearing it, that from this day forward my needs are met according to God’s riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.  God, I am standing on Your Word, and I am looking to You to take care of me.  I will never again ask any man for a cent.  Amen.”

Church, this is not a prideful or arrogant move, but one of complete humility and obedience.  You know why?  Because that decision connects us to the power of God.  It boldly declares that we are no longer relying on our own strengths and knowledge and influence and learning and power, but that we are now fully, completely, and utterly relying on God for our every need.

God’s Richest Love and Blessings truly is yours in Jesus’ Name.
