Love. That one word sums up all Jesus said for us to do. If you will build your life on it, even the most violent storms of this world will be unable to shake you. It will make you solid in every area of your life.
If you will build your family on love, you can win back those the devil has stolen from you. You can win them to Jesus with the love of God. How do I build my family on love? You forgive, over and over again. You approach them in love, despite how they treat you or what they say about you. Think of your life before salvation, did you deserve Jesus pursuing you so diligently, did you deserve His forgiveness? NO! Then do not stop pursuing and forgiving those that you love, but pursue and forgive them like Jesus would, because He loves them too, and you portraying the heart of God to your loved ones might just be the light they need in the darkness that surrounds them.
If you will build your work or your business on love, you will prosper beyond your wildest dreams. When love rules, prosperity can flow! How do you build your work or your business on love? You do what you do as if you do it unto God. Irrespective of your boss’ or clients’ attitude or behaviour. Integrity goes a long way, and a kind word spoken in the midst of anger or frustration can be the seed in fertile soil that the Holy Spirit can germinate with the Living Waters flowing from within you. You are the light in the darkness you work in.

“Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I ask that You help me live a life of love, wholly and pleasing unto You. Help me forgive just as You forgive, irrespective of the circumstances. Help me show others who You are in the way I choose to live my life, for Your glory. Amen.”
Commit to living the life of love today. Commit to building your house upon the rock. Then when the storms of life begin to blow; at home, at work, or in any situation; you can enjoy the solid security of knowing that love never fails.
