God actually gave us the perfect answer for times like this; Himself as the Word. When things seem overwhelming, grab your Bible and lose yourself in the pages of His Word, finding a hiding place in Him.
When the onslaughts come, grab your Bible and start meditating upon the empowering Word of God, holding it close as a shield, quenching the fiery arrows of the enemy. When the night seems long and dark and dawn seems further away than ever before, grab your Bible and find the light of encouragement in those pages and hold on to the hope that envelops your soul, drowns out your sorrows, and enlightens your spirit.

In times of trouble God remains our shelter, our security, and our HOPE, all we need is to lose ourselves in t he pages of His Word.
